Hi there peeps. I feel as though my posts are becoming more and more spread out these day, my apologies. If you want to see what’s been keeping me so busy, check out my latest articles for Vamp and Rivet.
I know it’s been forever and a day since my last post (already missing Boston and the beautiful people there), but I only have the usual excuses a la, work, friends and the fact that I tend to fall asleep promptly at 10:30 on work nights. I’ve officially become an 80-year-old woman. This is real this is me, i’ve reached my peak.
All of these terribly depressing revelations aside, it’s finally PSL weather! The basic betch in me is thrilled, while my pancreas and wallet laugh at me for thinking I could make that a regular thing. Oh well, ya win some ya lose some. But it’s finally time to break out the booties, leather jackets and warm drinks to frolic with around the city.
There’s just something about fall that makes me smile. When I was in college (oh em gee how can that be a past-tense thing now?!) in Boston, fall came quick in a whirlwind of falling leaves, colorful drives and apple picking. Now, I find myself wondering what fall in NYC will bring.
For one thing, probably less apple picking as I have a full-time job. But it means fall fashion and festivities in the park with friends and pink noses and tights and that warm feeling in your stomach after you down a few mugs worth of tea. It means a new season, which means new time and new people and new weather and… well, a chance to start over again. When the leaves fall, so do the things that were holding you back. At least, that’s how I like to think of the season.
Anyways, thanks for making it this far in my ramblings. Stay tuned for a guest post sometime next week. May or may not be a fashion week roundup! Woohoo!
Stay classy, sassy and beautiful, people!
xx
